Jonathan's AIDS Walk Fundraising Page
The 33nd annual AIDS Walk Boston is just around the corner! On June 3rd, 2018, I'll once again walk to raise money in support of the great work of AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts!
Last year with your support, we raised $7,911. In the spirit of always trying to go a little further, my goal for this year is to surpass that.
I'm excited to be walking with Team Ragon again this year. I am just about to complete my first full year working at the Ragon Institute in the lab of Dr. Bruce Walker, where HIV is our primary focus of research. My job is to provide bioinformatics support for research on T-cells in the context of HIV infection. The work I do is only a small part of the puzzle that is HIV, but I feel lucky to have the opportunity to do it.
Because ending the epidemic will take a combined effort, and in recognition that the services, education, and prevention efforts of AIDS Action Committee are important pieces of the puzzle, the Ragon Institute's team is one of the biggest fundraisers in AIDS Walk Boston.
Speaking of combined efforts, I would like to recognize the cumulative nature of your generosity. Since 2005, you, my kind donors, have donated $49,825. In particular, I would like to recognize decades of generosity of my friends in the MGH departments of Molecular Biology and in the Center for Computational and Integrative Biology.
Please again consider making a donation.
